Execute a plan that satisfies CBP auditors

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) opened a compliance review with a company and uncovered issues around improper use of free trade agreements. Hearing about our services, the company reached out to us for help.

What we did

We outlined and executed a corrective action plan based on data integration and a systemic qualification/solicitation process. We also served as an intermediary between CBP and the audited company.

CBP closed the audit based on the executed plan without any validations. Execution of the plan also enabled the client to increase their use of free trade agreements and lawfully avoid an additional $2.2 million in duties annually.

How can STTAS help you

We can prepare you for an audit and work with you and CBP to resolve issues as quickly and painlessly as possible by making your company’s trade processes more robust. Of course, you don’t have to wait for an audit to bring us in to evaluate your risks and determine if you have opportunities to reduce your duty spend.
